2nd and 4th grades science test will be on November 4.

Math - Grade 2
The 2nd graders have been reviewing telling time to the hour and half hour and are beginning to tell time to the 5 minutes.  Since this is such a real world application that can be used in every day life immediately after learning the material and it builds such awesome confidence in each child!  It is incredibly beneficial if parents practice this newly taught skill with their children using analog clocks at home as well.  This is an area that I've traditionally sought assistance from parents (even 20+ years ago when I taught 2nd grade for several years) and parents have always stepped up and it certainly shows in the classroom!  Thank you, in advance, for your assistance!  A team approach is always best!

Dear 2nd Grade Parents,

Second grade is such a milestone year for your children!  This year your children will receive both the Sacrament of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Student lessons consist of two essential parts.  First, the students will be taught and prepared for these sacraments on an ongoing basis throughout the year by Mrs. Van Helvoirt within the day-to-day classroom setting.  Second, students in all Green Bay Diocese Catholic Schools also participate in their local parish lessons/activities.

Therefore, please watch for communications pertaining to parish activities from Mrs. Anne Stemper, Parish Discipleship Formation Coordinator. Please contact her at stclarefaith@stclareagw.org if you have any questions or conflicts.

Mrs. Stemper shared the following dates with us.  We will leave this information posted on this blog for your reference.

Blessings,
Mrs. DeGroot, Mrs. Bartosch, and Mrs. Van Helvoirt
